Performance at Lehigh Valley Music Awards 15 in 2014

Inspired by Green Day, Chelsea began her musical career as the lead vocalist and guitarist for Lehigh Valley's pop-punk band, 2AM, at the age of 13. While in high school, Chelsea wrote and recorded her own songs with 2AM.  The band played at various underage venues throughout Pennsylvania. 2AM eventually went their separate ways as they got older and members went off to college, the military, and jobs. Chelsea began her solo career as a singer-songwriter and started a non-profit organization called Power Chords: Music Mentors for Our Youth. While she still performed with members of 2AM whenever possible, her performances began to expand with other well-known Lehigh Valley musicians and her association with Lehigh Valley Music Awards, The Acoustic Roadshow, Phil Stahl and LIsten Live Music broadened her horizons and provided new opportunities to perform in public as a solo artist. She has been a featured performer on Phil Stahl's television show and on BCTV with the Acoustic Roadshow [Link to the August 6, 2012 show here.],

Chelsea's style is reminiscent of Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders. Her renditions of Pat Benatar's "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" or Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee" are authentic to the originals. Chelsea also enjoys putting her own acoustic touch to pop tunes by Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga,  or Katy Perry, to name just a few. And her nod to the King of Pop with Michael Jackson's "I Want You Back" or "Black or White" will have audiences tapping their toes and bouncing their heads in rhythm with the beat. Her original music is filled with catchy hooks and lyrics that everyone can relate to and will leave you wanting to hear more.

Currently she is working with producer Andrew Chervak at Midnight Studios and has released her first single - her original song, "Between the Lies".  She is a recipient of the Board of Director's honorary award from Lehigh Valley Music Awards 2013 and has been nominated in three categories for awards in 2014.  Chelsea is now a liaison for the Greater Lehigh Valley Music Association (GLVMA), continues her work with Power Chords, and continues to perform throughout the Lehigh Valley and Berks County.  To stay up to date with Chelsea, follow her on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or Instagram!

Chelsea can be booked for your event as a solo, duo or full band performance.

Chelsea is the proud recipient of a 2013 Lehigh Valley Music Award honoring her contributions to the music community as a volunteer.
